PERFORMANCE SHIRT

THE MISSION:

For every performance shirt you purchase, Hoops for Christ will give away another shirt and a Bible to one in need in the Philippines.

While playing professional basketball in the the Philippines I connected with a missionary, Steven Siebert, and partnered with his ministry called the Salvation Team (http://www.salvationteams.com).  In my spare time between practices and games we traveled throughout the Philippines to hold basketball ministry clinic in slums to gyms. I was amazed at the children's joy despite many having no shoes, some had dirty clothes with holes in them and some children were homeless.

In these basketball clinics/camps we  would train them, shared the Gospel, gave them bibles and some times fed them. I ran around 20 of these events in the Philippines and when I came home to Louisville, KY I continued this work with Hoops for Christ.  In our Hoops for Christ camps we partner with local churches to invest, teach and inspire kids/families with the Gospel. We offer skills training with Pros and the promise that at every event we will clearly share the Gospel.
